Required documents

• Application (Form No. 34)

• Passport

• Alien Registration Card

Basic documents

(exempt when the required information pertaining to the foreign student/foreign language trainee from the university register has already been input into the foreign student information system)

• Documents evidencing the student’s enrollment (research): proof of enrollment, exchange student certificate, research student certificate, etc.

• Documents proving that the student is performing up to expected standards: academic transcript, proof of class attendance, etc.

• Documents evidencing the student’s place of stay

Additional documents

• Documents evidencing the student’s financial ability to attend the relevant program (if applicable)

• ※ Subject to vary depending on the relevant university’s level under International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS).

Reserving an appointment : Available 24 hours at the Hi Korea website

• Online application : 07:00–22:00 on weekdays (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)

Processing period

10 days for general matters and 2 months for matters requiring further investigation
